This is a bonsai I have had for about 10 years. two years ago Marco did some detail wiring and suggested I change the planting angle. I took his advice when i re potted the tree into a pot i made last winter.
I like the new angle and the shallow pot very much.

Hi, I havent posted in a while ,work has ben good. Anyway here are a couple of pictures of an iris in my garden. I think it is Ensata but I’m not certain. Any body know?

Here is a picture of new cones forming on Picea Abies ” acrocona” in my garden.
I think these are as beautiful as any bloom on a flowering plant

Well it sure feels like Spring out side but it seems too warm too fast. That makes it a difficult to dig trees for the season, the buds are already beginning to swell on many.

Well I was able to dig out enough snow to open the door to the greenhouse and have a look at my bonsai.
All is well and it was good to se them all and plan for spring potting and other work. I hope everyone’s plants are doing well this winter.
