The new pit kiln here at the nursery ready for the first firing. This type of kiln is used by native americans and has been for many, many years. The kiln will produce low fired earthenware pots with subtle colors produced by the wood fuel.
If all goes well the first firing will be 8-19.

Well we finally did it. The first phase of new world’s retail shop is finished. This building is where you can find All kinds of gardening supplies, tools and fertilizers as well as bonsai pots and wire. The next phase will be a 300 square foot studio for workshops and demos.
