This is a shot of the inside of the new retail building. I am now very happy to announce that New World now offers custom bonsai pots by Trina Feldhake, Some can be seen on the shelves. The next step will be to add a 20×24 ft. workshop area for classes and demos.

I want to thank the members of Pun-Ching for making the trip to New World for thier annual field trip. It was a real pleasure having you here talking bonsai and looking over the stock.

The new pit kiln here at the nursery ready for the first firing. This type of kiln is used by native americans and has been for many, many years. The kiln will produce low fired earthenware pots with subtle colors produced by the wood fuel.
If all goes well the first firing will be 8-19.

Well we finally did it. The first phase of new world’s retail shop is finished. This building is where you can find All kinds of gardening supplies, tools and fertilizers as well as bonsai pots and wire. The next phase will be a 300 square foot studio for workshops and demos.
