The snow was pretty but I’m glad it’s gone.
I created this page to post photos I have taken and also for photos you might like to post,I would

I always go to the Krohn conservatory this time of year to enjoy the plants . The Orchids looked fantastic on this visit.
These are pictures from the most recent firing of the wood kiln at maple creek in Moscow Ohio.I was fortunate enough to have a few of my pots in the kiln. The first photo is the inside of the first chamber of the kiln when it was opened 4 days after firing was complete. The next photo is in the rear, or salt chamber of the kiln. This was the first time salt glaze was used in this kiln and the reults were very nice.

after about an hour of stoking the kiln it is covered until it is cool enough to handle, 36 hours in this case.

Cactus were some of the first plants I ever started growing back in the 60’s, I am still fascinated by them.

A REALLY large Burr Oak in a clients garden
A great shot of Hosta “great expectations” growing with a redbud-Cercis canadensis.
The foilage is so similar in shape and size but the colors make a nice contrast.
