I had some time after work today so I wired this Hornbeam i collected about 15 years ago. It has been in this pot for 5 years and will be repotted this weekend. I really dont enjoy wiring so much and this took me about 3 hours. I Think it was worth it. I also found a new front and see some areas that dont work for me so i will continue to refine it.

Well I was able to dig out enough snow to open the door to the greenhouse and have a look at my bonsai.

All is well and it was good to se them all and plan for spring potting and other work. I hope everyone’s plants are doing well this winter.

I was lucky to have this project to work on, terracing a slope in a clients garden. Here is the before shot. Go to the landscaping page to see how the project turned out

Kinda warm today, 50f ,so I worked on my bonsai and repotted  some into pots that I made.

Well, we have had a few snow days here in southern Ohio. The question is what to do if you cant work in the garden?

Answer: Make bonsai pots. I was able to get some studio time at maple creek  .  In Moscow Ohio.

I think I,m getting better at turning a pot.

The Large in the back center is Picea bicolor,this is a really nice specimen.
